Do you have questions about COS?

Do you have questions about the COS program?  Read the Guide for the Humble (COS) Undergraduate or see an advisor (check out the list on the left).

Are you considering COS?

Are you new to CS and want information about the COS department?  Please make an appointment to see the appropriate advisor listed to the left and read the Guide for the Humble Undergraduate.

Are you a freshman and aren't sure whether your first class should be COS 126 or COS 226 or COS 217?  For most students, it will be COS 126 but a few students with a strong background may start in COS 226 or COS 217.  To be placed in to COS 226 or COS 217, please come see the freshman placement officer on the lower level of the Friend Center on September 10th (Freshman registration day).  If you miss seeing the COS placement officer on September 10th, please contact Josh Hug (see details to the left).
